History of Barbour Beaufort

This Barbour Beaufort jacket is one of the most iconic jackets of the brand Barbour, first released in 1983 and designed by Margaret Barbour.

Features

Suitable to wear all year round because the Barbour Beaufort is adaptable by adding the removable lining and hood. And very practical due to the back pocket across the full width, also known as the hunting or game pocket. Made from 6oz mediumweight waxed cotton with velcro cuffs and the recognizable corduroy collar with studs, this waxcoat Barbour Beaufort classic offers you the ideal protection against rain and wind. The jacket is also equipped with features such as a sturdy divisible zipper, stud closure at the front, two generous pockets at the front, and 2 slit pockets lined with moleskin at hip height.

Distinguishing

Inspired by the French hunting jackets, this Barbour Beaufort classic is shorter in length than the traditional other jackets of this brand and has a large back pocket lined with wipe-resistant Nylon.
